Random timeslip II

Random timeslip II, originally uploaded by lenfirewood.

Composite image made from three cameraphone photos (this version has sepia and vignetting done in picnik) – the inspiration for the title came from a book by Jenny Randles called “Time Storms”.

  1. i have no idea how you did this but it looks good

  2. Thanks kseverny – basically this was done by ‘layering’ three photos over each other and then adjusting the transparency of the top two layers so that the bottom ‘base layer’ also shows through. There were a number of other tweaks and colour adjustments also but the basic technique is via layering.

  3. This looks like an old postcard found in the attic with a mysterious message on the back. Well done Len.

  4. Thanks Lynn I’m so pleased that you got the sense of the mysterious that I was trying to convey. 🙂
